Advent Devotional Week 1
Theme for the Week:
Advent Week 1: Hope
Sunday, November 29 to Saturday, December 5
Advent begins with hope, because it begins in the waiting. For hundreds of years, God’s people waited for the Messiah He promised, and many wondered if He had forgotten them. He hadn’t. Every promise was pointing to Jesus. This week, we read the words God spoke to people walking in darkness, and we’re reminded that He is still the God who keeps His word. Whatever you’re waiting on this season, bring it to Him. Hope isn’t wishing things will work out. It’s trusting the One who already has.
