Beth Christie — Children’s Director
At
New Hope Fellowship, we believe children are not just the church of tomorrow—they are an important part of the church today. Beth Christie serves as our Children’s Director, helping create an environment where children feel safe, loved, welcomed, and excited to learn about Jesus.
Beth’s heart is to
partner with parents and families, build meaningful relationships with children, and develop a team of caring volunteers who make our children’s ministry a place where faith can grow.
What Beth Does
Beth provides leadership, vision, and relational connection for our children’s ministry. She works to:
- Connect with Kids — Helping every child know they are seen, valued, loved, and welcomed.
- Partner with Parents — Building relationships with parents and keeping them informed, encouraged, and connected.
- Build Great Teams — Recruiting, training, equipping, and caring for volunteers who serve our children.
- Create a Safe & Fun Environment — Making Sunday mornings engaging, organized, age-appropriate, and spiritually meaningful.
- Develop Leaders — Helping volunteers discover their gifts and grow as leaders.
- Connect Families — Welcoming new families and helping them find their place in the New Hope community.
- Serve as a Team — Working alongside our pastoral staff and ministry leaders to Reach Wide, Grow Deep, and Unleash Compassion.
More Than a Program
Children’s ministry is more than what happens in a classroom on Sunday morning.
It is about people, relationships, and families.
Beth’s desire is for every child to walk through our doors and think,
“I belong here.” And for every parent to know,
“My child is loved, safe, and being pointed toward Jesus.”
We believe that when we
love our children well, we strengthen our families—and when we strengthen families, we strengthen our community.Meet Beth Christie: Kids Ministry Director
Hi! My name is Beth Christie, and I am so excited to be transitioning into the role of Kid’s Ministry Director! God has given me a lifelong passion for bringing the community together, and that calling naturally extends to families, babies, and kids.
I have spent years of my life working with children, and homeschooling our son from starting in kindergarten, has deepened my love for discipleship, creativity, and Chirst-centered learning.
Stepping into this role of Kid Ministry Director feels like a continuation of what Jesus has been shaping in me for years: building a joyful, safe, community-rooted environment where families feel supported, volunteers feel connected and appreciated, and every child experiences the love of Jesus in a way that helps them grow confident in who He is, and who He has created them to be.
It is a pleasure to be on this journey with you, to serve your kids, and this community.
With Sincerity,
Beth Christie
