Bio: 

Al Soto has been married to his incredible wife Valerie for 42 years who he calls his bride, and they have five sons and one grandson and two granddaughters. Al has been in Local Church Ministry for 46 years as both as a Lead Pastor, Associate Pastor, and for five years as a Regional Overseer for the Foursquare denomination. For ten years Al Soto was a Consultant to Business Leaderships in assisting organization to create healthy systems to ward productivity. From 1997 – 2004, Al along with his mother Pastor Nancy Mathis was the hosts of one of the most popular weekend radio talk-show that was called “Get-Real” on KFAX radio. He has a BA degree from LIFE Pacific College and has earned an MA in Leadership & Spiritual Formation from Vanguard University. He currently resides in Placerville, CA where he has been the new Lead Pastor for New Hope Fellowship of Placerville since June 25, 2023, and is committed to “Doing Leadership as a Team.” Al & Valerie’s ministry focus is developing “Big People” who will seize their “God-Size Destiny”. Al has 40 years of Sobriety from alcoholism by the grace and power of Jesus Christ! He has 32 years of experience as a High School Football Coach and is facilitating Leadership training for local churches as well Civic, Educational, and Law Enforcement Leaders. He is also a Professor at EPIC Bible College and Graduate School Teaching Biblical languages, Leadership, and Theology, His hobbies include Golfing and Scuba Diving as well as he is a veracious reader.
